The Government's first estimate of UK economic growth for 2018 is 1.4%. Despite this being faster than Eurozone, growth, the BBC jumped in and blamed this 'slow growth' in the UK on Brexit. In fact UK growth in 2018 was faster than the 1.1% per annum average growth rate in the UK over the decade prior to 2018. A recession in 2008/9 was followed by an anaemic recovery which is now petering out across the world. if Brexit is having any negative impact, it is pretty small.
